Modes of Service Delivery:

Offer in-person, virtual, or group technical assistance sessions, adaptable to the needs of licensed and license-exempt Child Care Providers.

Provide a train-the-trainer model and ensure staff are equipped to deliver support effectively.

Maintain timely records of technical assistance provided, including type, duration, and language of service.

Manage requests for technical assistance and ensure coordination of services.

Service Documentation and Monitoring:

Ensure the hiring and retention of qualified staff familiar with grant requirements.

Monitor subcontractors where applicable to ensure quality control.

Engage in ongoing outreach and marketing of TA services using materials approved by DCYF.

Inform providers of their right to receive services at no cost.

Assist providers in complying with grant terms, conditions, and reporting requirements.

Offer consultation on understanding grant expectations from the application stage through the post-award phase.
Compliance and Reporting
Comprehensive Technical Assistance (TA) Services:

Provide community-based support to help Child Care Providers understand the purpose of grants, navigate the application process, and access the online grant application.

Assist providers with spending of awarded funds, managing receipts, and complying with grant terms.

Offer support for grant reporting, auditing, and compliance.
Culturally Responsive Technical Assistance:

Provide services in multiple languages, including but not limited to Spanish, Somali, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, and English.

Offer oral interpretation and written translation services to meet the needs of Limited English Proficiency (LEP) Child Care Providers.

Ensure TA is culturally responsive and offered in the providers' primary language.
